The Great Gatsby


-F. Scott Fitzgerald was born September 24, 19896 in St. Paul Minnesota. His parents where Catholic with a little Irish decent. His first published story was The Mystery of the Raymond Mortage.
Scott went to Princeton after highschool mainly because of their football. He also joined the triangle club a Princeton, where they put on show and wrote lyrics. During his time a t Princeton for 1913 to 1917, and he fell in love with a Ginevra King and then broe up.
A year after that he fell in lve witha girl named Zelda Sayre whose dad was a member of the supreme court. The start to Scott's fame was the publishig of The Romantic Egoist. After a good start with selling stories he married Zelda and Shortly after found out she's pregnant. Frances Scott Fitzgerald was born Oct. 20 1921. Frances ended up being their only child because Zelda had infected reproductive organs.
They ended up moving to Europe where The Great Gastby was started and published in 1925. In 1930 Zelda was put into a insane asylum for schizophrenia. Scotts last writing was The Last Tycoon and then died in 1940 of a heart attack.

-The quote i think is very true. It's good to see him think of somethin like this when he himself barely gave any effort during his school years.He is pretty much saying write stories or papers that will be good for youger generation to learn from, for teachers to teach from. So pretty much he wanted people to pick up good literary skills from good work such as his own.
