chp. 12

In chapter twelve, when Henry finally gets a good look at the battle field, he notices that the blue line is getting swarmed by the enemy. Henry keeps watching, and then he see's that the blue start retreating and running right toward him to the forest. So once all these me are running through the forest, Henry grabs and ask this random dude what was going on. The man tells Henry to let him go, Henry asks he what was happening, then the guy takes his rifle and nails him on the head. So Henry is now on the ground all bloodied, and this other helps him up and brings him to his regiments camp. Henry is kinda wondering why he didn't see his face.

-Why wouldn't Henry just run with all the other soldiers?
