Chp. 9

Chapter nine, I think is a big chapter in this book! Henry is looking around seeing all these dead and wounded men and wishes he had a "red badge of courage." He find the spectral soldier he saw earlier but now his face is gray and is starring at nothing. After looking at him he realizes its Jim and cries out in anger and horror. Jim tells Henry that he has been shot. Henry tells Jim that he has to move into the woods so he doesn't get run over by the enemies wagons. So Henry tries to move him but Jim tells Henry not to touch him. Jim ends up putting enough strength together to get behind some bushes, so Henry and the tattered man fallow him. While going to the bush, Henry watches in horror while Jim convulses and dies. This point Henry is very angry and clenches his fists and yells.
