So chapter three starts off with all the soldiers tired and weak, so the end up sleeping. Henry gets woken up by Wilson and the sound of gunfire in the distance. Their commanders lead them forward to the firing, and finally reach some action. Henry seems very terrified at this point and seems to be doing all he can to stay out of the way and stay alive. Once Wilson has seen a few people die, he gives Henry a yellow envelope and asks him to give it to his family.
-Why does Wilson seem so ready to die all the time when Henry doesn't?
